SHIPPING TIMELINES

Shipments come directly from our store in downtown Washington DC; therefore, we can ship only Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:30PM.  If you're picking up, you can pick up any time during our regular hours throughout the week.

For orders entered after our regular store hours, we will ship next business day.

LOCAL INSTANT DELIVERIES

Local instant orders (Washington DC only) will ship via Postmates.  Local purchasers also have the option of receiving their order via regular mail through USPS.

SHIPPING METHOD

Café Chocolat ships using USPS as the carrier of choice. Café Chocolat is not responsible for delays resulting from mishandling by the shipping carrier. We reserve the right to change shipping methods at any time and without notice. 

REFUNDS/RETURNS

We want you to make sure your chocolate arrives in perfect condition, however mailing chocolate in hot weather comes with risk. If for whatever reason you get a package with melted chocolate, send us a picture of the melt to solutions@cafechocolat.com within 24 hours of arrival. We will either refund your money, or replace your chocolate (depending on stock).

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns. Chocolates are not refundable, however if you are unhappy for any reason, please email barista@cafechocolat.com or call (202) 827-3057 and we'll do what we can to make it right.
